TweedleDeeZee... De, these are absolutely amazing!!! I love all of them... Eli WAS my favorite, but now that I see Hippopta-Moe... Yeah - that is my fav now! I show everyone of my friends the print I have, and then I make sure to tell them my Aunt created it!!! I am just in awe... I never knew you were so talented in art! They all are seriously just breathtaking! You have MUCH to be proud of in this area!!! I love you and am so proud of you!!! Keep them coming, I love to see your new masterpieces!
Hi Cindi, Wow......did we start art at the same time? I have always been impressed by your talent. You are amazing. People need to actually see you work to appreciate it. Then they will all go WOW like I have done for years. Keep up the good work. Nancy
I began painting pastel portraits in 2004. My first was "Jake." Our family had gone to Chile where we had portraits done by a street artist. Jake had not gone with us, so he did not have a portrait. Rather than hire someone, I decided to paint one myself! Since then I have painted several portraits, followed by animals, and landscapes. I like to show lots of detail in my paintings which isn't always characteristic of pastels. I love pastels because of the seemingly infinite variety of colors and textures one can create in any composition. Using different techniques, I am able to create the thick coarse hair of a lion's mane or the softness of a newborn baby.
